Pirates In The Caribbean At Worlds End

For most series the great plot and interest wears out after the first couple of movies, but for Pirates of the Caribbean , it seems to be doing the exact opposite. More and more people are becoming interested in the already popular series. The third and possibly final chapter, At World’s End, of the wondrous series is as great or greater than the first two.

The adventurous movie starts off with an explanation to the end of the chapter before itself. As it turns out, Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) was killed at the end of the second movie and forced to reside in Davy Jones’ Locker. This causes a problem, for the nine Pirate Lords which make up the Brethren Court have been summoned to Ship Wreck Cove to convene over the fact all piracy has been outlawed with the punishment of death, and Captain Jack Sparrow is the Pirate Lord of the Caribbean who never chose a successor before being whisked away to the Locker.

His once-first mate, Captain Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush), leads Will Turner (Orlando Bloom), Elizabeth Swan (Keira Knightley), and the rest of the crew whom worked the Black Pearl to rescue Jack from the Locker.

Other than having a fascinating plot line, the people who star in the movie seem to truly embody their characters. Almost no one sees Johnny Depp as Johnny Depp anymore. Instead, he is seen as Captain Jack Sparrow, the goofy yet skillfully genius pirate we all know and love. It seems that the other actors fit their characters to the letter just like Depp and Sparrow.

A good example would be Geoffrey Rush playing the role of Captain Barbossa, Sparrow’s competitor for the Black Pearl. The two actors fit into the humorous battle between the two characters like Cinderella and the glass slipper.

As most love stories lack realism, the one between Will and Elizabeth is a breath of fresh air. Between the two there is a lot of distrust and tension, but the love seems to remain under it all. The decision Elizabeth made at the of the second movie takes a toll on her relationship with Will, but Will, not only feeling distrust with his love, is also taking on the pressure of rescuing his father.

Overall, Pirates of the Caribbean : At World’s End makes a fascinating and great addition to the wonderful series. The audience is sure to remember Jack, Will, Elizabeth , and the rest of the character’s story of piracy and adventures for years to come. Don’t forget that you can catch this fascinating tale on DVD or on Direct TV’s Pay-Per-View channels.
