Motion sickness?
I got off the plane this morning…and boy;my head was spinning…i had hold up all the ‘nausea’ in me as i had Abby to care for during the 3 hour flight back from Labuan,Malaysia.Since my early days;i had always been “Miss Vomit” to my siblings ..plastic bags on standby n tissue papers:(….long distance car rides back to my hometown were horrid and sea-trips tops the list in my “Book Of Puke-Trips”.I heard its in the genes….but somehow;i was the only one in my generation that had motion sickness! I hope Abby doesnt inherite this trait but if she does;then i’ve got a few tricks i’ve learnt to keep it at bay!
So ;for those of you that share this ‘Motion Sickness’ with me;here are a few tips WHICH ACTUALLY WORKS!!!
1) Ginger juice! Traditionally proven to ‘heat’ that tummy and create an acidic-alkaline pH that ‘calms’ the nausea…
2) Novomin!!! It makes you drowsy…..but you wont get nauseated…the only side effect is that it tends to make you hungry!!!
3) Good company..! Having friends or families around and talking to them during car/sea/plane trips actually keeps your mind busy and somehow;-you wont get nausea!
4) Pickled fruits/Sweets/Salted fruits! These nickknacks actually are the “little heroes” that is mobile and compact which gives you something to munch on and forget about vomitting!
