Lets fight obesity!!

There are only 2 ways that really works to combat obesity in children.This weight control plan consist of increasing the physical activities and dietary management.
1) Increasing physical activities
-needed atleast 60 mins a day as recommended by The US Surgeon General
-limit the time for watching tv,playing games
-eliminate snack food during tv hour
-encourage activities done in groups eg cycling,swimming as having friends is so much more fun !
- lead by example and stay active too!
2) Dietary management
- eat more food high in rufage as this maintains satiety in children.
- eliminate pruchasing processed food/junks/sweets
- encourage your child to eat slowly
-have dinner as a family at appropriate hours (take into consideration of digestive time) before sleep
-replace ‘unhealthy snacks’ with ‘healthy snacks’ eg fruits,lowfat yogurt and etc.
Do gradually introduce these weight control plan as the body needs to adapt too!:)
