Raising Money
Remember those times in school whereby youre give a card with a whole lot of squares to be chopped on for every dollar/donation you got?Well;i do.And i got into a Fundraising last Friday with Abby’s pre-school.
As usual,i browse around the net for inspiration and i got a few good ones.Most of all;i came across a website that i thought really made sense and was very practical.The whole site basically makes life easier for the fundraiser.For example;should you be a sports fundraisers ,the site actually has a list of items that they are proposing to be utilised for the fundraising.The materials are at a discounted price and that even helps more!
Trust me;i got into a church fundraising event last year and it was a headache.Everyone had their ideas and at the end;we had too much food and low profit margin as the cost of materials to cook and bake was kust ‘uncontrollable”.So,after browsing through this EZ fund site…i pretty like the ideas of the lollipops,cookie doughs and Prize brochures especially since my Fund raising event will be involving little kids around Abby’s age.They will so love it!And at least i am sure that i will be able to raise some ‘real’ money.
Where and how this money will be used?Well,its for the school to purchase more outdoor playthings.
