My heart goes out to the babies in China.

It has been a challenging and black period for China .The news of the tainted milk with melamine which swept the world with fear raised many questions regarding the safety of products being manufactured and exported globally by China.

Melamine is a chemical normally found in plastic,paint and adhesive which is a banned substance and it could cause kidney failures ,urinary tract ulcers and skin irritation.what happened in China was that the milk produced IN CHINA was dound to be adulterated with melamine as melamine is able to influence the protein cintent of the milk.

Therefore,it is improtant for all parents to be sure of the milk that their child is taking is not SOURCED FROM CHINA.Many milk companies have announced that their products are safe to be consumed as the milk source is not from China.should any of you have any worries,do contact the manufacturer of the milk product and seek clarification on the source.

Lets take this opportunity to reflect as it is said that the China health ministry did receive complaints on the safety of Sanlu milk but had not reacted fast enough to investigate the matter till the unfortunate death of a baby.

Once again,lets hope that the China authorities keep a more stringent quality check on their products.
