Online Business Is Still Growing

Online business is still in its infancy, especially when compared to centuries of “real world” trading, bartering and selling which has taken place. While ?real world? solutions will not fit every online business concern, both types of businesses become successful only when their top priority is customer service and client satisfaction.

Online business is still growing a lot, and retailers have definitely taken interest in the online competition. Manufacturers have the ability to limit prices which stands to benefit strong brands a lot.

Starting your own online business is not hard. But it does require that you have and follow an action plan. Starting an online business is not always as easy as it may sound. But, running an online business has many benefits over its offline counterpart.

Starting an online is not nearly as hard as some people will tell you that it is, nor is it as easy as you will hear from many sources. In fact, I’m sure you are probably bombarded daily with the same do nothing make thousands of dollars a month offers that I get. Starting your very own online business takes very little start up costs. Unlike starting a business in the Real World, there is no rent to pay or equipment to buy when starting an online business.

Success online comes not in replacing the old with the new, but blending them together. Successful marketers would probably also make very good (or very evil) psychologists :) .

Informational chats are good as well, such as one that explains what a certain non-familiar product is. Information about registrants will be used in the aggregate. However, if we buy a business, we will honor the requests that customers made of that business regarding e-mail communications.

Websites are supposed to be dynamic. This means they need to be updated. Website design no longer costs thousands of dollars. In fact, you can do it for less than $50 if you are willing to do the work yourself.

Internet users consider internet advertising to be the most relevant ad format. The internet evolved as a medium for marketing and advertising since 1994. Internet Marketers who do not understand these concepts will soon succumb to failure.

When I first started marketing I simply joined programs and started promoting. Internet success means having a great site, and having a great site means making the Internet work for you.

Starting your own online business takes very little start up costs. Unlike starting a business in the Real World, there is no rent to pay or equipment to buy when starting an internet business .

Starting your own business part time or full time is within the reach of every one. Gender, Age and Ethnic background do not matter – ambition, motivation and staying power matter . Starting an online business is no longer a novelty. It’s a fact of life for individuals and established companies alike.

Blogs offer a vehicle for you to give your business some “personality.”.As author Cochran notes, “Everybody likes to do business with a friend,” so make your blog as personable as you can without seeming hokey. However, be thoughtful about what topics you cover; some hot-button issues, such as discussing an Internet tax or Internet neutrality are probably topics for this type of forum and reflect that you are a knowledgeable business person.

Blogger Unleashed posts useful content that even the biggest internet newbie can follow, and unlike other blogs out there, Vic is dedicated to helping his readers succeed – a couple questions I’ve asked through comments have been replied to; a few of his readers talk about how he has helped through Skype and personally guided them towards making their own website – would any A-Lister do that?

Becoming Successful Online Can Be Achieved

Becoming successful online takes time and dedication. However, the results can be tremendous. Becoming successful online is a process much like everything else in life. You do not run before you walk and you do not succeed before you fail.

Internet marketing has been making people a lot of money for quite a few years and it has grown to be one of the most competitive markets. New people come online and they hear that people are making lots of money with internet marketing so they decide they want to jump into the shark-infested waters. Internet marketing can work for anyone. All you need is the patience to see something through and to be consistent in your business.

Sell ancillary items like maps, books and souvenirs. Your website should be an extension of your physical shopfront or office. Selling, ‘instant money ‘online is a billion dollar industry and it is what causes many people who want to work online to quite after a few months. This and they also do not want to work hard.

Internet success is real, not like the movies. The movie “Field of Dreams” is not accurate, just because your company built a web site does not mean people will come and see it! Internet Success Spider will return from 10 to 100 – you choose the number – top ranked websites for that search phrase. It will also give you their Alexa ranking and the number of incoming links, determined by the search engine you select to do your search.

Starting a business requires focus. These two jobs collide when you, as an entrepreneur housewife, start a business in your living room. Start your journey to home based millionaire status today. Do not put it off.

Starting a successful home business can be a scary . It is easy to become intimidated, causing confusion and ultimately indecision and paralysis. Start brain-storming for the best domain name for your business. Your domain name should be fairly short if you want people to be able to remember it easily and a domain name with around one to three important keywords should help you as well.

Start-up investment is minimal. You can start by selling what’s stored in your closet or garage!

Building a website and putting it on the World Wide Web is analogous to putting up a billboard on a highway covered with billboards as far as the eye can see. On the other hand, version 2 of the Myth is also false. Build your own Affiliate Base and start the ‘residual income effect.

Your site will earn money for you even when you’re sleeping ! Build residual income when you begin your home based internet business anywhere including areas like Florida, Nevada, California, Texas and more!

Start an Internet Business with a “plug-in-profit site” that gives you the earning potential of five income streams immediately. You get a free pre-fab web site that promotes several of the hottest affiliate programs around, and some top-selling info-products.

7 Reasons Why Internet Marketing Works Well For Women

Internet marketing or marketing a product/business on the internet is fast becoming a popular way to build a business. It appeals because you don’t need your own product to be successful, you have a market that shops while you sleep and you can work at your own pace. It is particularly appealing to women with family responsibilities because it allows them to build their internet based business while still taking care of the family and with careful planning it can become a business that provides a regular and passive income.

As a mother of 3 who works full time on building her internet marketing business here are 7 reasons why I believe internet marketing works well for women.

1. Flexibility. One of the most powerful things that running your own internet based business provides is the flexibility to start and stop when you want to. If you have young children or babies at home you can work while they nap. If you have older children at school you can work while they are at school and after they go to bed.

2. Freedom. When people talk about wanting to earn huge amounts of money usually it is not about getting money but it is about the freedom that having that income provides. Internet marketing offers an opportunity to place no limits on the amount you earn, which provides you with the freedom to be at home with the kids, take time off when you want to and enjoy living rather than working to live.

3. Ongoing passive income. Passive income is income that you earn on an ongoing basis after the initial work has been completed. So it may take you a month to write your own ebook, or six months to create your own membership site but once the work is complete you can earn an income from it forever! Yes you will have to update it to ensure it stays fresh and up to date but the initial work is done and now you can continue to sell it over, and over, and over, and over again.

4. Easy to start. It doesn’t take much to get started online except a willingness to learn and the desire and motivation to keep going until you succeed. But it would be foolish to confuse easy to start with easy to make money. You can set up a free blog in the next 10 minutes that’s easy to start, but making money from your blog takes some time and effort.

5. Our natural ability at networking. Social networks are a huge topic right now and relationship building is something that the majority of women do well naturally so we can use that to build relationships online. Finding smaller social networks that will help you to get noticed and build a reputation is as important as focusing in on the bigger ones.

6. We can get started without a product. Thanks to internet marketing systems like affiliate marketing and drop shipping you can sell online even if you don’t have a product and in some cases even if you don’t have a website. Selling other people’s products and earning an income is a great way to get started online. Again easy to start but remember it still takes time and effort to make money.

7. Opportunity to sell your business. In the book The e-myth revisited (great book to read) you are encouraged to build a business that you will eventually sell for a huge profit. It is no different online, there are many people who don’t want to start from the beginning and who will happily buy an established internet based business. Its a longer term goal but worth keeping in mind.

There are so many reasons why internet marketing works well for women but those are the top seven that I have found. Always remember that developing an internet based business takes time and money commitment. There are no short cuts and you could be luckily enough to develop a product that is an instant best seller, or you may spend 2 or 3 years marketing the product you have until it becomes one. The thing to remember is the opportunity is there and it works for those willing to focus on one business and build it until it makes them an income they are happy with before moving on to another idea and another product.

Want An Easy And Low Cost Way To Make Money Online? Get Yourself A Blog

Many people who are new to the internet and want to start making money online face one common challenge which is a lack of money to get started. Starting an online business requires that you have a website, and it can be quite expensive to get a website set up. This is where a blog comes in!

If you are new to the internet and looking to start making money online starting with a blog is an easy and low cost way to get going. A common challenge for many new to internet marketing is a lack of money to visit in a website. But with the number of wonderful, professional blog themes available a blog can look every bit as professional as a website with far less maintenance.

The other common challenge for people new to internet marketing is their lack of experience. Having hosting, a domain, uploading websites and all of those other essentials you need to get started can be completely overwhelming so again the blog steps in and makes it easier because it provides you with everything you need.

Before you start blogging you should seriously think about area you want your blog to cover and then what your keywords will be. This will make it easier for you when you are marketing your blog and also when you are writing your blog posts because your keywords will determine what you write about.

When it comes to advertising your blog you do not have to spend a lot of money in comparison to a website, its easier and quicker to drive traffic to a blog than to a website. There are social sites that focus on blogs and people who love to read them and the more of them you can include your blog in the better.

Starting with a blog is easy and anyone can do it which is why it appeals to people who are new to the internet. The most important advantage of starting a home based internet business with a blog is the fact that its easy and no technical skills are required. You can do everything yourself. Having a website would require you to have some technical skills or you would need to pay someone to build your website.

By having a blog, you can start making money online while having fun. This is simply because blogging is fun and easy. If you start your internet marketing business in a niche that interests you or that you know a lot about, you wont find it difficult to blog everyday, and this will improve your search engine position and drive traffic to your blog.

This is why blogging is such a great alternative for the new internet marketer who wants an easy and low cost way to get started but it still takes some work and dedication from you as the blog hosts.

7 Things You Need To Succeed At Internet Marketing If You Are New To Internet Marketing

If you are new to the internet and looking to be successful at internet marketing it is important you have the right plan, structure and tools in place. This article outlines seven things you need to succeed at internet marketing:

1. A target market with a big problem
Research is so very essential when you are looking to succeed at internet marketing because without it you have no idea who your target market is and without knowing that you have no idea who you are targeting your advertising too and without knowing that you are sending out messages that are not hitting a mark.
You need to decide on your target market and then discover what their problem is, what is it they need to solve and how can you help them with that.

2. Customers who buy from you over and over again
You want to make sure that once you have your target market that you have a variety of products that you can sell to them so that you don’t have to keep finding new customers for new areas. There are people who work in this way but it is hard work because you are effectively starting again with each new area.

A website or blog
With the amazing changes in blog templates it’s possible to create a blog that looks like a website without the hassle that having to maintain a website needs. To succeed at internet marketing you need a base to promote from and that base could be a website or a blog and it can also be both. You never have to limit yourself to just one either, three blogs all with different templates and providing slightly different information is a great way to get yourself noticed.

A product
You can’t succeed at internet marketing without a product and it doesn’t have to be your own. Find digital products that you can sell as an affiliate marketer or try drop shipping physical products. You might prefer to promote a membership site or develop your own information products that you sell. There are a number of opportunities so it is important that you find one that works for you.

A list
Succeeding in internet marketing without a list is not impossible but it does make your job much harder. Having your target market and then getting customers from that market who buy from you over and over again is the best way to succeed. I didn’t start to make a living in internet marketing until I started to build a list.

Traffic
Of course you can’t build a list if there isn’t anyone visiting your site. Getting visitors to your site and then converting those visitors to buying customers should always be your ultimate goal. Using article marketing, press releases, social bookmarking, blogs, social networks and all those online resources will mean that you can get a lot of your traffic without having to pay. Of course eventually using pay-per-click advertising is still an effective way but it is not as essential as it once was.

A Winning Attitude
Marking and mindset go together if you want to succeed at internet marketing and you should never underestimate the benefits of a winning attitude. It may not make you money in itself and it will not guarantee your success but it will get you though the tough times and negativity will almost certainly cause you to fail. You need to keep going in the face of adversity but you also need to know when to walk away! You need to believe in your ability to set a goal and achieve it but you also need to know when you have set yourself too high a target.

So there you have it, the seven things that I believe anyone who is new to the internet needs to succeed in internet marketing. If you start with those as your focus it will be difficult for you to go wrong and if you are struggling at making money online you might want to look at which of those seven are currently missing for you because adding them may make a big difference to your internet based business.

What is the Future of the Internet and What Will it Hold for Us?

As a novice web designer this question probably looms in your head. What are the ways to be a better web designer? Mastering the visual design, usability, utilization, and coding are some of the most important issues to have an effective design implementation of web site. Aside from those issues, however, knowing the basic details is an important element of essential web design; either you are just starting to work as web designer or a professional one.

Some of the most essential things every web designers should know:

Know your goal. As a web designer, what is your first goal that comes into your mind when building a website? Maybe, making money online or to tell a story with a personal website on the web. But wanting and building a good web site is another one. Your first goal therefore is to have an effective web design. In marketing sense, a poor web design has no sales. And no sale means no traffic and no visitors. A poor design is as good as a web site not existing.

Build a website and keep it simple. We always heard this dictum that simplicity is beauty. Simplicity must always be the first guiding principle when you start thinking and developing your ideas to your website. With all the tools and technology are just within our reach, it must be attempting to build a complex web design. This is a no-no. Visiting readers visits a website to find information and it always their instant gratification that guides them. They demand you to give them the information as fast and clearly as possible. Failure to meet their expectation to your website, there is always the back button they can hit and you would likely lose your visitors because of poor implementation of your website.

Know the HTML. If you aspire to be a better web designer in this field, master your HTML. HTML is the right tool to have an effective web design. This will help you execute properly your ideas that will make your website worthwhile and interactive to visitors.

If you don’t know a single thing about HTML, there is always the Google search engine that can help you have some basic knowledge about HTML. You can search for online tutorial (like w3school tutorial for HTML) and start studying HTML with your own risk.

Use basic fonts. In web design there are fonts that are considered to be web safe. These web safe fonts like “Helvetica”, “Arial”, and “Time New Roman” are widely used and installed for every computer. When you use a font that your visitors do not have installed in the computer, the web browser will choose default fallback fonts. These fallback fonts will likely destroy your website’s layout and make the content difficult to read.

Stick with standard layout. A flash-basedweb sitecreates an impression of creativity. However, most Internet users nowadays expect a conventional layout. Understand that your visitors hate to wait and flash-based layout takes time to upload. With conventional layout, you can be certain that it does not slow down the browsing process and helps maintain a good user interface.

Keep your images small. Try to design your website with graphics small in file size. The lower the file size of images, the faster the loading process of your web site. Save the images with graphic formats such as jpeg, GIF, or PNG extension.

Keep your code clean. Learn the proper technique of coding HTML. Keeping your HTML’s code clean helps your site to load faster and conserve bandwidth.

Avoid distracting elements on your page. Design your web page with balance between those animated gifs and flashy advertisement. Place them in a proper table in a way that it is not distracting and annoying to visitors.

Website Development – It’s Not Magic – It’s About Good Content!

Website development is not magic, and it’s not as difficult as some people would like you to believe. The many companies involved in SEO or Search Engine Optimization are correct in stating your site must be “optimized” for the search engines in order to get higher search engine rankings. What they would like you to believe is this is all very technical and sophisticated, and therefore it justifies the prices they charge for their services.

What is in fact highly technical, sophisticated and developed by absolute geniuses, are the search engine algorithms used to rank sites as the “bots” crawl the millions of sites and bring back information. But you need to understand one thing clearly. The search engines are ultimately looking for only one result – fresh content that will be exactly what people like you and I want when we do a search.

When I made my first attempts at website building, I researched everything I could about website development and how to get my website ranked in the top 10 and then using all the technical tricks and tools to make the search engines happy and rank my site high. You can guess what happened…nothing!

The only way you could find my site was for me to actually tell you my URL. Needless to say, I had very little traffic. Then it hit me, why am I trying to outsmart the brilliant people at the search engines who continue to update their search technology on a daily basis? I realized there has to be a better website development method, and went looking. Face it, with out the search engines ranking your site highly; all your work will be for nothing, because your site will be invisible!

I was very lucky to find a company that not only hosts websites, but has a complete website management and training program. I signed up with them for $300, and it was the best investment I have made yet in my online adventures.

I went through their 10 day course and read every page and watched every video. They quickly pointed out the basic misconceptions people have about website development and building sites that are ranked highly by search engines and how to avoid them. What they made clear to me can be summed up in one phrase used often in their course…”content is king!”

You start your website development with a concept or theme, a subject you are passionate about, a subject you believe you can make into a business. Then you do keyword research about your subject to find out how much search activity there is about your subject on the search engines. You also look at what keywords have the highest search demand versus websites supplying that information, and the resulting gap or surplus. When you find gaps, this means there is demand for information about those keywords, and an opportunity for your concept.

Then you build content rich pages around those keywords, and guess what. That is exactly what the search engine algorithms and “bots” are looking for…CONTENT! But you must never forget the most important part of equation will be the humans that will be reading your pages, so as they say in the training – Keep it real! You must write as your having a conversation with someone sitting in front of you.

If website development is magic, then the magic boils down to three key principles.

* Your website must have a theme that you are knowledgeable and passionate about.

* You must understand you will never outsmart the search engines, and the search engines rankings are based on good content around a specific theme and keywords.

* You must keep your human readers in mind as your first priority and develop your content for them.

Keep these basic principles in site at all times and then, and only then, you will get the results you want — traffic and increased sales!

What is an RSS Feed?

A lot of sites have them, but you don’t know what they are. It is an intriguing little button right on the Web page, and it is full of mystery. Just what is an RSS feed?

Defining RSS

Many Web sites out there offer RSS feeds. You click, you receive – it’s just that simple. But just what are you getting into with that innocuous mouse button of yours? What in the world is an RSS feed in the first place?

Technically, RSS stands for Rich Site Summary and it only exists online. Imagine a Web site with a whole lot of content (text). Perhaps it’s a news site, or a very popular blog on the Internet. This site then takes that content and syndicates it. With the RSS feed, any user on the Internet can receive this syndicated content. It is sort of like buying a subscription to the newspaper. You order the paper and suddenly, it starts to appear on your doorstep. An RSS feed is the exact same thing – but the “newspaper” appears right on your computer.

Why Use an RSS Feed?

Okay, so why do you need an RSS feed when your email inbox is already full of junk mail? RSS feeds are not advertisements but actual content: news, information, blog posts and articles. The best thing about RSS feeds is that they’re not random. You have to subscribe or sign up in order to receive an RSS feed. Sometimes, the local paper may deliver free copies to try and get you interested in their service. RSS feeds will not do that – you won’t receive an unsolicited RSS feed, because in the majority of cases the service is always free.

When you have an RSS feed, you save yourself the time and trouble of searching the Internet for the information that’s pertinent to you. Suppose you get online every day to check major news headlines, entertainment information, etc. With an RSS feed, all you have to do is get on the computer and you don’t have to search out anything – the feed you subscribe to is already there, and available.

There is another factor when considering RSS feeds. In almost all cases, sites providing RSS feeds want you to use them as much as possible. It’s perfectly acceptable for you to put an RSS feed on your own Web site, thus getting daily content where your visitors can access it, too. You can stay up on business news, what’s happening on Wall Street, politics, whatever you own personal interests are, and you can make the same information available to your own Web traffic. This is why RSS feeds are so popular, and also why so many sites offer RSS feeds completely free of charge.

Offering an RSS Feed

Does your site have a lot of regularly-updated content? A popular blog or newsletter, perhaps? You might even consider offering an RSS feed to your own Web users. The RSS feed puts your Web site’s name out there in a bold way. The more subscribers who have to your feed, the more marketing you get. Those same subscribers might be sharing their feeds with others, who might share that feed you get the point. Word-of-mouth spreads about your site, your content becomes more popular, and suddenly business is improved. This is of course a good-case scenario, but in truth there aren’t too many negatives associated with offering an RSS feed.

If you’ve got content to provide, there’s no reason not to offer an RSS feed. In a worst-case scenario, no one will subscribe to the feed. It takes up very little space on the Web page, and if no one subscribes then your business will pretty much remain the same. If they do subscribe, it might improve, but it certainly won’t fail if the RSS feed fails to gain attention and acclaim.

Creating an RSS Feed

So, how do you go about putting the RSS feed on your own site? If you know how to write code, it is easily done when you edit a page on your Web site. There are online tutorials which can walk you through the process. If you’d rather leave it in the hands of a professional, talk to a Web designer about creating an RSS feed and finding the best way to market this service online. Web designers can help you take care of this and other details when it comes to creating an RSS feed on your own site.

It Takes Mud Tires to Build an Internet Business

Thousands upon thousands of people are facinated with the question of how the “average Joe and
Josephine” are getting rich selling things on the internet.

You’ve heard the promises…

“Make money while you sleep!”
“Earn a 6-figure income; no experience necessary!”
“Start your own profitable business overnight!”

And you’re like — “Whoa! Look out money, here I come!” and getting ready to walk the
golden road to success.

But somehow that golden road always turns to mud and, before you know it, you’re
reading the next big sales letter and putting your gold-road-walking shoes on
for yet another journey into the land of disappointment.

Let’s break the cycle of doom and get you started off on the right track for your next (or
first) online business venture. Get ready to go tool shopping.

First — you need a catchy name to hang on your brand new web site, so it’s off to the
domain name registrar for you. Plenty to choose from; pick the one you like best. Shop
around; prices vary widely.

Next you need a parking place for that double-wide website, so it’s time to find a web
hosting service. Windows or Linux? It’s your choice. The type of PC you have doesn’t affect
the type of web hosting you need to buy.

The next must-have goodie in your bag o’ tools is software called an autoresponder. That’s
the software that automatically responds to people who join your list by sending them pre-written
email messages.

You’ll want to feed those people’s names and e-mail addresses to your autoresponder by
using a “squeeze page” that entices people to trade you their email address for whatever
shiny object or pearls of wisdom you are offering in return. You need one if you’re
planning on building a mailing list.

Then you are going to need a way to read people’s minds. If not their entire mind, at least
the part of their mind that saw your home page sales letter and made the decision to line your
pockets with money, or let you eat cake.

In order to pull of this Svengali stunt, you’re going to need a bit of software called a “split
tester.” What a split tester does for a living is to serve up different versions of your home
page to different visitors. Then it keeps track of who bought what from which page and, in the
end, tells you which version of your sales letter is raking in the most cash.

There are some other good-to-have tools to round out the must-have collection above. But
grab a hold of these first so you can build a solid footing for that soon-to-be-built
road of gold.
