Beautiful mane

January 24th, 2008

Your head is your crown….?

I guess its more ;- your hair is your glory?I used to envy those ladies with bouncy long curls that somehow just stays intact from 9-5pm.Hahhha…i still do.My hair will somehow never be ever bouncy nor straight and silky like how it is projected by shampoo ads on tv or billboards.

I came to realise that i should be thankful for still having my mane. There are people out there who are facing hair loss or early baldness. My colleague Yeoh has been getting bald at the front of his head..He actually had a head full of hair till a few years ago. He blamed it on work stress but the doctor mentioned it was probably also due to poor nutrition. He actually had tried a few hair loss products. And for his 2008 resolution;he has had confidence again with provilluswhich is a upcoming hairloss product that has actually got some good provillus review on it.

I guess everyone is vain and will do anything to increase confidence. It is true that appearance and first impressions are very important.Like it or not, this world is pretty hypocrite and its just a fact of life that beautiful people (appearance wise) overrides beauty people(beauty from within).Facts of life…Live with it..

Feeling good means looking good.>wink<

Tummy stretch

mum-and-daughter.jpg

I would need to admit that being a sexy mum aint that easy!!With a household to care for,Abby to scurry after….and nites lullabying Abby to sleep..all the dark circles, scruffy hair and exhausted legs:P

I was trying on a pair of new blouse this morning before work till my hubby commented that my tummy looked so much better that my stretch mark was fadding away! Ofcourse i was a bit ‘offended’ ;geez;-carrying his child for 9 months and now i know he has been keeping an eye on my stretch marks? Then hey;isnt it the truth??He laughed it off and assured me he LOVES me which was followed with many kisses….but isnt it too late?

I have to admit that i am rather happy with his comment though.I’ve  been using a particular stretch mark cream  called Trilastin which was recommended by a site that test stretch cream products.  There was also a stretch mark prevention cream which was reviewed and it actually prevent stretch marks called the revitol stretch mark cream. It does work for pregnant ladies.

I guess motherhood comes with a price on beauty but i’m sure all mothers out there would agree that a few stretch marks are worth it …coz you have someone who looks up to you with so much love…and you are their world…in their eyes.:)
